Your Wednesday Itinerary:
Check-in & Chill: Arrive today for your 5-night stay. Settle into your pitch, meet your neighbours, and soak up that pre-event buzz.
Once you’re unpacked, head over to the Main Arena for the First Horse Inspection, which starts promptly at 4 pm.
Thereâs always a frisson around the trot up; this yearâs fit, gleaming contenders are presented to the Ground Jury by their stylishly dressed riders. Why not get your Defender Burghley experience off to a brilliant start with an extra-special Pol Roger afternoon tea?

Getting to and From Burghley Boutique to the Main Arena
Forget the long treks! Parking at the Walled Garden is included with your Burghley Boutique booking. Plus, our golf cart buggy service is ready to whisk you to the event entrance in the morning and bring you back to your cosy retreat at the end of the day.

Please remember that all event entry tickets must be purchased directly via the official Burghley Horse Trials website.

Burghley Boutique is the official glamping site for Defender Burghley Horse Trials
In addition to your accommodation booking, you must purchase admission tickets for Defender Burghley Horse Trials and car passes if you wish to drive to the event. We strongly suggest that all our guests do this before the event; many ticket types sell out before the event, and advance discount prices are only available from the official box office opening in late April.
